As a signature polyethnic experience (PolyX), the Bronco Startup Challenge includes a series of workshops (iStartup Academy), networking events (sponsored by industry partners), and business pitch competitions, on and off campus throughout the academic year. The Cal Poly Pomona innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E) ecosystem is designed to challenge and support students from different backgrounds, specialties, and interests to bring their business ideas to life. From ideation to a solid business plan, the ecosystem facilitates student growth and innovation. The Bronco Startup Challenge is an opportunity for students to connect with entrepreneurs, receive mentorship from successful business leaders, and gain valuable feedback on budding ideas. The iStartup Academy including its two business pitch competitions are open to all Cal Poly Pomona students.
