WiSE Mentoring Program - Signature Polytechnic Experience

Thank you again for your interest and donations to support our WiSE (Women in Science and Engineering) mentoring program at Cal Poly Pomona. We truly appreciate your contributions! We have successfully expanded our mentoring program to WiSE Multi Mode Mentoring and Undergraduate Research. Participants have provided positive feedback about the program and its impact on their self-confidence to succeed in STEM.

WiSE Multi Mode Mentoring and Undergraduate Research has been approved as a Signature Polytechnic Experience (PolyX) at Cal Poly Pomona! PolyX promote students’ discovery of the opportunities and challenges within the field and the development of creative and innovative solutions to those conditions. Through collaborative learning and intense mentoring, PolyX engages students beyond the classroom and prepares them for professional and civic success. Thank you so much for your interest and donations to help expand our WiSE (Women in Science and Engineering) Mentoring Program to include engineering, science and agriculture! As of early November, we have reached 47% of our goal. We appreciate every donation, large or small.

Our Cal Poly Pomona WiSE students will benefit from your support, as they gain self-confidence and a greater sense of belonging in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

We are excited to announce that our fundraising campaign has been extended to December 31, 2021.
