Diverse Stories in STEM (DSiS) Speaker Series
Diverse Stories in STEM
The Diverse Stories in STEM (DSiS) Speaker Series at Cal Poly Pomona brings experts from the fields of animal behavior and ecology to campus to share their research, experiences and personal journeys. These talks give students the chance to learn from scientists who represent a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives, helping them see how diversity strengthens discovery and innovation. By connecting directly with professionals, students gain inspiration, mentorship and insight into what a future in science can look like.
Your support helps us continue this impactful series. Donations cover the cost of hosting speakers, including travel, lodging at Kellogg West and meals, as well as venue reservations and lunch for attending students. With your help, we can provide meaningful opportunities for learning and connection that empower students to explore their passions, broaden their perspectives and see themselves as future leaders in science. Together, we can celebrate diverse voices and spark new possibilities in STEM.
