Empower Indigenous Voices in STEM
The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) at Cal Poly Pomona is dedicated to supporting Indigenous students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Through professional development, cultural programming and community outreach, our chapter helps students build leadership skills, connect with mentors and celebrate their heritage while pursuing academic and career success. Every event, workshop and conference experience strengthens our commitment to honoring Indigenous knowledge and inspiring future generations in STEM.
Your support makes these opportunities possible. Donations help cover travel and registration costs for conferences and leadership events, fund guest speakers and professional workshops, and provide resources for cultural celebrations and outreach programs that uplift Native youth. With your help, AISES can continue creating spaces where Indigenous students feel seen, supported and empowered to lead. Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive future in STEM.

Provide funding for our STEM Day! This involves inviting native youth with the opportunity to travel to Cal Poly Pomona to learn about STEM and engineering-based careers. Main activities include a tour of our BioTrek, a tour of the Native American Student Center on campus, STEM-based activities, ect.

Provide students with the opportunity to attend the AISES Region 2 Conference and AISES National Conference in order to network with native professionals and peers as well as learn about future careers in STEM.
