Build Innovation with Rose Float

The Rose Float is one of the university’s most iconic and celebrated traditions. As the only student-designed and student-built float in the annual Tournament of Roses Parade, it brings together Cal Poly Pomona and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo students from every major to create something extraordinary. From welding and engineering to floral design and project management, this hands-on experience embodies the true spirit of Learn by Doing and showcases Bronco creativity, teamwork and innovation to a global audience.

Your support helps keep this incredible program thriving. Donations provide essential materials such as welding supplies, floral decorations and tools, as well as meals for students who dedicate long hours at the Rose Float Lab and Design Complex. Every gift helps our students tackle real-world challenges, develop professional skills and proudly represent Cal Poly Universities in one of the world’s most-watched celebrations. Join us in fueling creativity, collaboration and the next generation of innovators.
