The Undergraduate Missiles Ballistics and Rocketry Association (UMBRA) is Cal Poly Pomona’s student-led rocketry organization that gives more than 200 students the chance to turn classroom knowledge into real engineering experience. Through hands-on design, testing and manufacturing, our members work on advanced projects like Speed Racer, ExoBronco and Inferno, rockets that push the limits of aerospace innovation. From beginner workshops to graduate-level research, UMBRA offers every student a place to learn, experiment and contribute to groundbreaking work that reflects the best of CPP’s Learn by Doing spirit.

Donations fund the materials, parts and tools needed to bring our rockets to life while covering costs for travel, testing and national competitions that showcase Bronco engineering talent.
