Growing Knowledge, Cultivating Community

At Cal Poly Pomona’s Ornamental Horticulture Unit, students get hands-on experience growing plants and learning how sustainable agriculture creates a healthier future. We’re expanding these opportunities beyond the classroom through outreach programs with our Grow Together Workshop Series, where students share their plant science and horticulture knowledge with our local community. By learning and teaching directly in the field, students develop skills that prepare them for careers in agriculture while inspiring a deeper appreciation for local food systems.

Your support helps us grow both knowledge and community impact. Donations fund educational materials, outreach programs, and our new Vertical Farm-to-Community Produce Program, which delivers fresh, student-grown food from our campus Vertical Farm to our local CPP community.
