Graduate Planning Student Association
Help Future Planners Build Better Communities
The Graduate Planning Student Association (GPSA) at Cal Poly Pomona connects graduate students in urban and regional planning with alumni, professors and professionals who are shaping the cities of tomorrow. Our mission is to give students the chance to learn directly from experts in the field while building the relationships that help launch meaningful planning careers. By attending state and national conferences, students gain insight into new planning strategies, share ideas and bring that knowledge back to the classroom and community.
For the 2025–2026 school year, our goal is to send the entire GPSA team to the National American Planning Association (APA) Conference in Detroit, Michigan. Your support will help cover registration fees, airfare and hotel costs so every member can attend without financial barriers. Donations will give students the opportunity to network, gain real-world insight and represent Cal Poly Pomona on a national stage. Together, we can empower the next generation of planners to design stronger, more sustainable communities.
