Society of Women Engineers
Empowering Women Engineers, Inspiring the Future
At Cal Poly Pomona, the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is dedicated to empowering women to reach their full potential as engineers and leaders, while also championing diversity and inclusion in STEM. Through general meetings, professional development workshops, social events and national conference participation, our members gain the skills, support and connections they need to thrive. Recognized nationally and regionally for our impact, we have grown to over 250 members, making us one of the largest and most active collegiate sections in the region.
Your support helps us continue this momentum. Contributions cover essential costs for programming and outreach, including our award-winning Youth Engineering Success (YES) Program, which inspires the next generation of engineers from elementary to community college. Funding also supports our annual “Evening with Industry” banquet, where members connect directly with engineering professionals and gain valuable career insight. By investing in SWE, you are fueling the growth, confidence and success of women in engineering today and for years to come.
