Established in 2002, the Pep Band is a spirited organization that supports the Cal Poly Pomona athletics department and actively performs at various campus events. Our founder, Daniel Sandt '05, a music education major, brought together a diverse group of students from different majors who are dedicated to performing quality music and creating a lively atmosphere. As the Bronco Pep Band, our goal is to support our fellow Cal Poly students by keeping spirits high, both in victory and defeat.
To achieve this goal, we strive to perform at home basketball and volleyball games, as well as occasionally traveling to away games. We maintain high standards in our performances, with musicianship being a top priority. The pep band meets at least once a week for two hours to practice existing repertoire and to learn new material, which can range from choreography to the latest pop hits. We continuously try to expand our outreach to spread the Bronco pride!
However, we need your help! A tax-deductible gift of any size to the newly created Bronco Pep Band fund will make an impact on the student experience at Cal Poly Pomona.
Donations will help fund things like equipment, uniforms, travel, and performance competitions. Your investment will continue to support the "Poly X" experience of our performers both in and out of the classroom.
Every little bit helps the Bronco Pep Band continue to rally for our Broncos, so make a gift today.
Go Green, Go Gold, Go Bronco Pep Band!
