Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you all so very much for your support of the John L. Kellogg III Cal Poly Pomona AG Scholarship! Through your generosity, we have been able to keep it going for 5 years (since 2019) and have awarded seven scholarships.
Additionally, we have even more great news to share. Due to two significant donations, we now are funding a John L. Kellogg III endowment which makes the scholarship self-sustaining into perpetuity!
No tax-deductible gift is too small or big to support the legacy of John L. Kellogg III. For example, my daughter donated her monthly allowance.
In keeping with the Kellogg tradition, the W.K. Trust (earmarked for the education of future generations) was distributed to the extended Kellogg families including the Muenchs, Degens, and Fischers. Many thanks to those family members who have already contributed to the scholarship efforts.
Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting Paul Wyatt, this year’s John L. Kellogg III Cal Poly Pomona AG Scholarship recipient. Please watch the above video of this impressive Animal Science student (and CP Gigi!). The impact of the John L. Kellogg III Scholarship has been significant in helping academically successful but financially challenged students stay in school and make their dreams come true.
During this holiday season of giving, I hope you continue the Kellogg legacy of philanthropy in education which we have all have personally benefitted from.
W.K. was right: “Education provides opportunity for all”. Please help keep this legacy alive into perpetuity. I will personally match the first $10,000 donated to the John L. Kellogg III Endowed Fund to ensure continued success!
Thank You and Merry Christmas!
Susan Kellogg-Bell
