At Cal Poly Pomona, we believe no student should have to choose between buying a meal and getting an education. Since 2019, the Poly Pantry has been a lifeline for students impacted by food insecurity. With your help, we’ve supported over 4,000 Broncos, distributing more than 100,000 essential items—including groceries, fresh produce from CPP Farms, and hygiene supplies. Now, you can help us take it to the next level!
This year, we’re raising funds to provide even more students with the resources they need to thrive. Your generous donation will help us:
Stock Up on Essentials: While we’re fortunate to receive donations, we also need to purchase critical food, hygiene items, and other basic supplies to ensure students’ needs are fully met. Every student deserves access to nutritious food, and we want to ensure our pantry is always stocked with quality products.
Upgrade Our Storage: To keep up with the growing demand, we need new shelving, refrigerated storage, and equipment to safely store perishable and non-perishable items. By improving our infrastructure, we can offer more to students in need, safely and securely.
Install Refrigerated Lockers: Imagine being able to pick up groceries at any time of the day! With your support, we plan to install refrigerated locker units that will allow students to receive pantry packages during extended hours, catering to their busy and varied schedules.

It costs us about $35 to create one bag of food, fresh produce, personal hygiene and school supply items which would cover a student for one week.
Many of us may remember saving on grocery expenses in November by visiting extended family and sharing expenses, but that may not be possible for students who remain separated from their family to keep them safe. A gift at this level could keep a student from going without basic needs for one month.
Our Most Popular Donation Level! Personal hygiene kits at the PolyPantry included items like toiletries, feminine hygiene products, bath soap, and shampoo. These kits cost us about $10 to assemble. So a gift at this level could provide such items to 20 students!
Did you know that a group of horses is called a TEAM when they're all pulling a load together? A gift of at this level covers the food and essentials for 25 Broncos. That's quite a load!
A gift at this level makes sure 3 students have everything they need from start to finish this Spring Semester.
We create over 120 bags of groceries to distribute to students every week. A gift at this level would cover a week of groceries for ALL of the students we typically serve! PLUS - A gift of $2500 automatically enrolls you in the CPP President's Circle.
