What is Model OAS?

Model Organization of American States (MOAS) is an international program where students across North & South America participate in a national simulation held in Washington DC. It simulates committee meetings of the Organization of American States, which is a real-world international institution. CPP students in the MOAS delegation play the part of representing different member-states by introducing resolutions that address  political, economic & social issues in the Western Hemisphere. Students practice diplomacy skills & meet students from other schools across the Americas while earning awards for their public speaking & resolution-writing skills.

How your funding can help!

We fund student travel, hotel, & registration costs to make participation as inclusive as possible. Due to budget cuts & increased registration costs, our delegation may not make it to nationals this year. Your funding will help us send enough students to join over 1,500 others at nationals in Washington DC & continue our legacy of representing CPP's "learn by doing" values.
