Who Are We?
The Cal Poly Pomona chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is a student-led organization committed to fostering diversity in STEM by increasing the number of Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact their communities. Through a combination of mentorship, leadership development, and community outreach, we inspire students to pursue careers in engineering and other STEM-related fields. Our chapter actively participates in national and regional conferences, including the NSBE Fall Regional Conference (FRC) and the National NSBE Convention, where our members connect with industry leaders and develop essential professional skills.
Our Goal
NSBE CPP is working hard to provide our members with the resources necessary to succeed, whether through academic workshops, leadership training, or networking events. Our key fundraising event, the Bronco Launchpad, is designed to raise funds that will support our members’ growth and help them attend conferences like FRC and the National Convention. These events offer invaluable opportunities for our members to learn, compete, and represent Cal Poly Pomona at the national level, fostering both personal and professional development.
How Can You Help?
As a non-profit, student-run organization, 100% of our funding comes from donations and sponsorships. Your contributions will directly support NSBE CPP’s mission by helping us provide materials for workshops, cover transportation fees for conferences, and create professional development opportunities for our members. By investing in NSBE, you are helping shape the next generation of engineers and driving diversity and innovation in STEM. Every donation helps us move closer to achieving our goals and preparing our members for successful engineering careers.
