What is SEACPP and Timber Strong?

SEACPP (Structural Engineers Association of Cal Poly Pomona) is a student-run club that focuses on promoting opportunities for students interested in the structural discipline of civil engineering. As an organization that stems from SEAOSC (Structural Engineers Association of Southern California), students are provided meetings with professionals in the structural industry and opportunities to network with them.

The Timber Strong Design Build Team (TSDB) is a competitive team that participates at the Pacific Southwest Student Symposium (PSWS) and designs and constructs a two-story structure made of timber wood. Members of the team collaborate through various divisions: architectural, structural, and construction to build the final product that is constructed at PSWS.

As a student-run organization, the budget is overall dependent on donations and gifts. We will need the funds to purchase the necessary gears, tools, and timber wood for TSDB as well as food and merchandise for SEACPP members. We hope you will consider donating for our teams. Thank you!
