Farm to Pantry - Students Growing Food for Students

Students growing food for students- what could be better!

The Farm to Pantry began as a collaboration between the College of Environmental Design, the Poly Pantry (ASI) and the College of Agriculture. Recognizing food insecurity on campus, the program connects principles of sustainable agriculture and regenerative practices, as it models willingness to serve, wellness and mutual aid for a healthy and resilient campus community.

Your support of this program has numerous levels of impact- in service of the Poly Pantry, we will hire students to grow food for students, many of which are experiencing food insecurity. The students hired will be trained as student farmers, each learning a multitude of regenerative and sustainable farming practices. This applied education, will go with the participating students well into the future careers. The farming action supports the ecological health of the Lyle Center, including soil health, pollinator habitat, and demonstration of sustainable practices.

This program is truly regenerative- your support has positive social, economic, ecological and communal impact! We appreciate your help meet our  goal of producing food, expanding regenerative practices and building a healthy community.
