At Cal Poly Pomona, we believe in the power of diversity, inclusivity, and the boundless potential of women in technology. That's why we're thrilled to announce our upcoming "Women In Tech Scholarship" program, brought to you by Cal Poly Women In Tech (WIT).
Our Mission: We are on a mission to foster an environment where women are not just included but celebrated in the world of technology. We understand that barriers and disparities exist, and we are committed to breaking them down. We want to empower the next generation of female tech leaders, and our scholarship is a significant step towards that vision.
Scholarship Details: We're raising $5,000 to provide three deserving and talented girls with the opportunity to pursue their dreams in technology. These scholarships will be awarded as follows:
- First Prize: $2,500
- Second Prize: $1,500
- Third Prize: $1,000
To apply for the Women In Tech Scholarship, interested candidates will need to submit an essay that showcases their passion for technology, outlines their career goals, and discusses how they plan to contribute to diversity and equity in the tech industry.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the Women In Tech Scholarship, applicants must:
- Identify as female or gender non-conforming.
- Be currently enrolled or accepted at Cal Poly Pomona.
- Have a passion for technology and be pursuing a related field.
