The Black Alumni & Friends Chapter is dedicated to the educational, cultural and professional growth of the Black Community. Our commitment extends to our Cal Poly Pomona alumni and current Black students who are in the midst of their academic pursuits.
We recognize that recruiting and retaining Black students is a challenge based on a variety of factors. To combat these challenges, financial support can give them time to focus on their academic goals and ensure that their work experience aligns with their career path.
Donate to the Black Alumni & Friends Chapter to provide scholarships to students from all academic disciplines who have contributed to the advancement of African/Black people in the diaspora.
Show your support by donating $20 towards students scholarships.
Help students minimize the time spent at part time jobs so they can maximize the time they spend focusing on their studies. $750 is equivalent to nearly 70 hours of minimum wage work.
Help us raise money for student scholarships by donating $1 a day.
