Thanks to the support of last year's generous donors, we were able to found the WRC Cares Scholarship. We had over 239 submissions and awarded 2 students in Fall 2022. With your help, we could support even more students.

About the Scholarship

The Womxn's Resource Center Cares Scholarship began thanks to generous contributions during Giving Day in 2021, including a match from the Abraham family! This scholarship is unique because it is available to any CPP student with limited restrictions on class standing, work experience, or volunteer experience. The essay prompt simply asks applicants to describe the impact that gender has on their experience as students at Cal Poly Pomona and the value of spaces such as the Womxn's Resource Center. Two recipients have been chosen to receive the scholarship this year, and our goal is to create FIVE MORE SCHOLARSHIPS through this campaign.
