The Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Festival began almost 30 years ago and has grown into a month-long series of events and activities in October. A Pomona Valley tradition, the pumpkin patch features thousands of student-grown pumpkins, farm demonstrations, live entertainment, great food, and a variety of activities for all ages. It truly is a showcase of the wonderful work by the Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture and our university community.
We anticipate showcasing 10,000 pumpkins and are inviting you to be part of the fun!
For this campaign, we have set a goal of $10,000 to support the Huntley College Dean’s Excellence Fund. This important fund—truly the foundation of the college—supports our core mission of fostering a diverse culture of experiential learning, discovery, and innovation.
Your direct investment impacts the student experience by supporting programs and offering opportunities to learn both in and outside of the classroom—a cornerstone of a polytechnic education.
Thanks for considering adopting a pumpkin and impacting the lives of Huntley College current and future students!
