Who are we?
Students at CalPoly Pomona University have initiated a new club that supports women on campus who are interested in learning about agriculture. We are seeking the help of like-minded friends that love agriculture!
The Women in Agriculture Club was founded in the Summer of 2022 by two Huntley College of Agriculture Students to empower women as they advance within the Agricultural Industry. Our goal is to create a seed fund that can help women grow within their college experience. We are bringing women together to create a positive, insightful space where we identify barriers and navigate issues that impact women in agriculture.
What is our mission?
Our mission is to connect and empower all women in agriculture. Our goal is to cultivate engaging academic experiences and meaningful career opportunities. We do this by creating impactful learning experiences during workshops, field trips, and club activities.
Who does your donation support?
Your generous donation will create learning opportunities for the members of the Cal Poly Pomona Women in Agriculture Club through field trips, professional workshops, keynote speakers, and other club activities. All of the money donated through this campaign will benefit the student membership of the Women in Agriculture Club.
Help us sow a seed for the future of the Women in Agriculture Club! Your donation of $15 will help provide funds for our monthly club meeting activities.
Help us propagate a prolific future for the Women in Agriculture Club. Donating $25 will help supply a member of our newly formed club with a club t-shirt. This will allow our club members to maintain a uniform and professional look during club field trips, workshops, and outreach events.
Help us cultivate an inspirational experience for the members of the Women in Agriculture Club. Your donation of $60 will fund student participation in hands-on learning experiences.
Help our students harvest a unique experience for in the Women in Agriculture club. Your donation of $125 will contribute to a tank of fuel for the college van so we can travel to field trip experiences.
Help us produce empowered women leaders in agriculture! Your donation of $250 will help fund a keynote speaker for our club workshops, providing a supportive learning experience for women by women in Agriculture.
