Cal Poly Pomona Political Science majors, accompanied by Professor Renford Reese, will spend 2 days in Paris on a cultural excursion and 8 days in Geneva, Switzerland learning about International Relations, International Diplomacy, and the roles of International Intergovernmental Organizations (IGOs). Participating students will receive course credit during the Spring Semester 2023.

Why are Study Abroad opportunities vital? Students can experience new places and cultures, network with like-minded people from around the world, and gain a global perspective. This experience allows students to become more innovative and to develop highly-valued skills such as intercultural communication, adaptability, and problem-solving.
The total trip cost is $3,000 per student. Students are eligible to apply for travel awards offered by a generous alum Sean Yu, Poli Sci grad '99 and Dr. Renford Reese (awards are approximately $1,000). The balance of the trip costs is the students obligation or fundraised through this campaign - so every dollar counts!
