Support Broncos going to Geneva's International Diplomacy Trip with Dr. Renford Reese

Cal Poly Pomona Political Science majors, accompanied by Professor Renford Reese, will spend 2 days in Paris on a cultural excursion and 8 days in Geneva, Switzerland learning about International Relations, International Diplomacy, and the roles of International Intergovernmental Organizations (IGOs). Participating students will receive course credit during the Spring Semester 2023.

While in Geneva, students will take a tour of The United Nations European Headquarters, and will sit in courses on International Relations and Human Rights at the International University of Geneva. Students will participate in three Shadow Days in international IGOs.

Why are Study Abroad opportunities vital? Students can experience new places and cultures, network with like-minded people from around the world, and gain a global perspective. This experience allows students to become more innovative and to develop highly-valued skills such as intercultural communication, adaptability, and problem-solving.

The total trip cost is $3,000 per student. Students are eligible to apply for travel awards offered by a generous alum Sean Yu, Poli Sci grad '99 and Dr. Renford Reese (awards are approximately $1,000). The balance of the trip costs is the students obligation or fundraised through this campaign - so every dollar counts!

$25

Take Off Sponsor

The total cost of the trip is approximately $3,000. Students selected for this trip are eligible to apply for a $1,000 travel award. Students will pay the remainder of the trip expenses on their own. Every donation toward this campaign will offset the costs for a deserving student.

$50

In Flight Sponsor

Flights for this trip are approximately $600 roundtrip. Every donation toward this campaign will offset the costs for a deserving student.

$100

Ground Transportation Sponsor

Students will be spending two days in Paris then taking a train to Geneva. Every donation toward this campaign will offset the costs for a deserving student.

$500

Landing Sponsor

Each student must apply, interview, be accepted on the trip, and pay a $500 deposit by Nov. 1. Every donation toward this campaign will offset the costs for a deserving student.

$3,000

Trip Sponsor

The total cost of the trip is approximately $3,000. If you are so moved to support an entire student's costs, you could grant them the opportunity of a lifetime.
