Our Crowdfunding Groups
The Latino Professional Alumni Chapter provides scholarships to high achieving students who help make a difference in the lives of others. Often, they are the first in their families to go to college, and many have great financial need. Nevertheless, they manage to succeed academically, while finding significant ways to give back to their community. We are asking that you consider making a donation to this student scholarship which helps many high need studentswith the financial support they need to further their education.
Since 2010, the Alumni Association has awarded 74 students over $220,000!
Help students minimize the time spent at part time jobs so they can maximize the time they spend focusing on their studies. $750 is the equivalent of nearly 70 hours of minimum wage work.
This level covers the full amount of the scholarship for one student.
Undergraduate tuition at Cal Poly Pomona is about $7,396 per year. A gift at this level would almost completely pay for a students tuition expenses for one semester.
