MISSA's 29th Annual Information Technology Competition (ITC)

For the past 28 years, Management Information Systems Student Association (MISSA) upholds a strong tradition of leading the Information Technology Competition where top students from select universities come together and showcase their skills in tackling Information Technology-related case studies. These categories are IT Security, IT Strategy, Digital Forensics, Data Analytics and Web & Application Development. This year, the Information Technology Competition will kick off on Friday, April 4, 2025, and the competition day will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Previously, the Information Technology Competition hosted participation from a plethora of institutions such as UC Irvine, CSU Fullerton, CSU Los Angeles, CSU Long Beach, Case Western Reserve University and Mt. San Antonio College.

To continue this historic occasion, we request your support in bringing our dedicated ambitions for this year's competition to reality. It is our aim to reach a target goal of $7,000 in support from private and corporate contributions to finance the Information Technology Competition. In return, we will collaborate closely with your company or firm to develop a customized promotional plan that is mutually beneficial and in line with your interests and expectations. Thank you for your valued time and consideration!

FAQ

What is the "Donor Wall"?

The Donor Wall displays a full list of the donations to the campaign, and it can be viewed by clicking the "Donor Wall" tab on the campaign page. Using the options found at the bottom of this donation page, each donor can customize the way their gift can be viewed on the site by hiding their name, the amount the gave, or both.

What is the difference between hiding my name on the Donor Wall and making my donation anonymously?

Hiding your name and/or the amount you gave on the donor wall only changes the way your gift is acknowledged on this campaign's page. Your donation may still be acknowledged through publications of CPP Magazine and any other methods of recognizing CPP's donors. If you wish to make your gift totally anonymous, answer "Yes" to the question "Do you prefer to make this donation anonymously?". This will also give you the opportunity to request that all donations you make to CPP in the future will be treated the same way. Please note, that you will also need to select your Donor Wall display preferences for each gift you make to Cal Poly Pomona Crowdfunding or Giving Day.
