FY25 Farm to Panty Program - Lyle Center

Your Donation will:

  • Allow the Lyle Center to hire student farmers to grow food for the Poly Pantry
  • Provide material support for the Farm to Pantry program - seeds, starts, soil, etc.
  • Support the goal of providing a minimum 2000 lbs of produce to the Poly Panty 
  • Support training student farmer on raised beds, no-till row crops, field crops, orchard culture and berry culture.
  • Feed students!

  • Support the health of the soil, air, and water of the Lyle Center as regenerative indicators of a healthy community 
  • Pursue external collaboration to build resiliency through partnership and community workshops
  • Expand campus food philosophy of locally grown produce in all campus food venues
  • Support the development of herb gardens that support local species and pollinators, and cultural medicinal practices
  • Connect  professional experience, applied job training and inspiration of future innovation amongst program participants
  • Support communal action with larger Farm to Pantry volunteer events and community wellness workshops 
  • Support the foundation of economic resiliency and health with the development of value-added projects – Blackberry Ice Cream and Backyard Orchard culture

How much do I have to give to be a Class Gift donor? 
We accept online donations of $5 or more. Donate $20.26 and receive an exclusive CPP pin to wear at Commencement.

If I donate online, where can I pick up my CPP pin? 
Pins are available for pick up at our Class Gift pop-ups around campus through May 8. After donating, you will receive a confirmation receipt with a list of dates and locations.

How can I vote for what I’d like the Class Gift to support? 
Voting takes place in person at our Class Gift pop-ups through May 4. Stop by to vote and snag a fun sticker available to all donors!
