Harvest International is a student-run community that cultivates the diverse literary voices at CPP to inspire and support the campus. This crowdfunding campaign supports Harvest's work: producing a biannual PDF journal (Harvest International) and a quarterly zine ("Tuesday at 11:00"), hosting an annual poetry reading, and maintaining a consistent web presence.
Students enrolled in a polytechnic experience course in the English and Modern Languages department, with the support of the CPP MakerStudio, published the first print edition—the "Tuesday at 11:00" zine—in over a decade. The zine was hand-drawn, copied, cut, bound, stamped, and numbered by a staff of 13 students. Only 200 copies were made, and were gone within 48 hours.
A second volume is in production for a December release, and features an innovative fold-out design and requires complex bookbinding practices.
A special release zine is currently in its early stages of production, featuring two sections that highlight the voices of Women of Color and WomXn.
We are currently targeting $1970 in honor of the year of Harvest's founding. Thank you for your support.
